About Us

Rooted In Family Legacy. Driven By Exceptional Client Service.

Oestriecher Wealth Partners began the same way many great businesses do—through relationships and trust built one client at a time.

In 1999, our founder,  Emile Peter Oestriecher III, affectionately known as Mr. O, expanded his long-standing accounting practice, Oestriecher & Company CPAs, to help clients navigate a broader set of financial decisions. Families and business owners were already turning to him for guidance on taxes, investments, retirement, and long-term planning. Establishing a dedicated wealth management practice was a natural next step in serving those needs.

From the very beginning, the firm was built on a simple idea: when you truly know your clients, you can give them better advice.

In 2009, Anne Oestriecher joined her father in leading the firm, strengthening its family roots and deepening the firm’s commitment to thoughtful, relationship-driven planning. For more than a decade, Anne helped guide clients through important financial milestones while continuing the tradition of personal service that defined the firm from day one.

As Anne prepares for retirement in 2026, the firm enters an exciting new chapter.

Today, Oestriecher Wealth Partners is led by its third generation of owners—Christopher Daigrepont and William Whisenant, Mr. Oestriecher’s grandson-in-law. Together, Chris and Will are honored to carry forward the values that built this firm: integrity, thoughtful advice, and an unwavering commitment to the families we serve.

Answers To Common Questions

Many people start looking for a financial advisor when they are approaching retirement, facing a major decision, or wondering whether they are missing something important. These are some of the most common questions we hear.

  • A financial advisor helps you organize, evaluate, and improve the decisions that affect your financial life. That can include retirement planning, investment management, tax-aware strategies, income planning, estate planning coordination, and helping you understand how one decision may impact everything else. At Oestriecher Wealth Partners, financial advice is not limited to picking investments. It is about helping clients make informed decisions with a fuller understanding of the moving pieces, so they can reduce financial stress and feel more confident about their future.

  • You should start retirement planning as early as possible, but it becomes especially important in the years right before retirement. Questions around Social Security, retirement income, taxes, Roth conversions, Medicare premiums, required minimum distributions, and withdrawal strategies all become more urgent as retirement gets closer. That is why many people seek out a retirement planning advisor when they are within a few years of retirement—but we always recommend starting as soon as possible.

  • Financial planning looks at the full picture, while investment management focuses more specifically on how your portfolio is structured and managed. A financial plan can include retirement goals, tax considerations, cash flow needs, legacy planning, risk management, and coordination with other professionals, while investment management is one piece of carrying that plan forward. Many people need both.

  • A financial advisor can provide tax-aware financial planning by helping you understand how financial decisions may affect your broader tax picture. That includes planning around withdrawals, Roth conversions, investment-related tax consequences, charitable giving, Medicare premium thresholds, and retirement income strategies. While advisors do not prepare tax returns unless they hold the proper credentials, tax-aware planning is still an important part of comprehensive financial advice.

  • You may need a new financial advisor if you feel like you are only getting product recommendations instead of real planning, if complex questions are not being explained clearly, or if your current advisor is not helping you connect your tax and wealth decisions. Many people begin looking for a new advisor after realizing they want more education, more transparency, and a more comprehensive approach. A strong advisor relationship should help you feel informed, understood, and better equipped to move through every season of life.
